Awesome art style, should be really cool when its done. Really buggy though, even for a demo this could've had just a bit more time in the oven. Some bugs that kinda bothered me were the wall clipping ones when you jump and that the flies aren't at the character's height so you can't shoot them standing plus when you jump, your window to hit them is incredibly small.

One interesting bug I found is that if you jump on a spring (instead of walking into it, which works as intended), you go right through it and it sometimes makes you next jump extra high even if you don't jump off the spring.

Anyway, keep it up.

k7games responds:

Thanks for the feedback I am working on fixing the bugs and making new levels and bosses.

great animations, feels good to play but some non combat parts are frustrating. Also the coins go right through the ground when you destroy the first boss. UI could use a lot of work

olivecrow responds:

Thank you for your feedback! Could you tell me in detail about what I lacked in my game? If you do, I will actively reflect on the game! It would be really helpful for developing my game!

Starts off kinda slow and "generic" but the more I grind and train, the more originality I see. Its rare that an RPG flash game manages to be innovative. No only is this well made and balanced but also it stands out from all the other games of this type. Great job!

SoulGame responds:

Cool! Thanks for giving the game a chance.

They don't call you manly chicken for nothing. You would have needed some serious balls to pull of a concept like this. Making fun of popular Newgrounds and Youtube names is just sooooo... ballsy. I especially thought that the game grumps segment was well written and proved a point. I think there could have been a larger way to present the youtube segment by pointing out more flaws.

Although the gameplay itself is not very original, i think that mixing these popular aspects with it was pretty creative.

nice work man!

thinking-man responds:

Thank Pjorg for the writing. He wrote the sketches.

This is nothing more than a generic platformer. The writing looks like something ripped out straight from a poorly translated anime and that light going on and off is really unnecessary. I wouldn't say it adds a challenge since you can just wait in one spot till it turns back on but it just messes with your eyes.

The idea for the concept though was very god but it was poorly executed. I see some ways how it could have been through provoking but it just failed. again, that flickering light basically turned me off from reading half the dialogue since there just wasn't any motives to stand in one place and read text.

But all in all, this games isnt horrible. Its pretty good and i liked it BUT i would not go through it again

JackAstral responds:

Sure. I didn't actually proof read it for some stupid reason, hence all the typos and stuff. :b I'm normally a pretty good writer.

Thanks for reviewing + playing.

im gonna be honest here. There is absolutely nothing unique about this game. Its pretty much one of those "draw my thing" games on facebook take away everything that makes it fun. There is no point of drawing things to yourself that only you will see. also by the looks of it, you get points for drawing virtually any scribble in this game. yea, but i can still see effort put into this project. the only reason i can say well done to this is because you built it from the ground up possibly all by yourself.

JackAstral responds:

Thanks for playing and taking the time to review anyway. I did look into adding more social features, but what I managed to get working really lagged so I decided not to include it.

I guess this is more of a little gadget then an actual game, ahah

i was really impressed by this game. i didn't actually think you would make a sequel but you did and its great. the animation was really good however the strokes were kinda rugged and i dont think that it was noticeable in this compared to your other games.

the only thing that bothered me is the long ass ending for the grppling gun path. i had to wait like 15 min to get the ending and all the fails on that part.
anyways, good job.

PuffballsUnited responds:

Yeah that ending may take a while if you have to view it multiple times. The only difference I can think of is that I switched from 30FPS to 24FPS

oh shit! i remember playing the first one way back when i was little. good times my friend. this is just awesome

kanogames responds:

Thanks! Some things do still remain fun after childhood, unfortunately my GI-Joes didn't meet the same fate!

as much as i love the gameplay mechanics, they do become frustrating and boring. once someone plays the game for 10 minutes, they discover that the rest of the game is very repetitive.

AethosGames responds:

But if you've only played the game for 10 minutes, that's not even a quarter of the game.

this game is pretty easy if you know who you are trying to find. other then that, i dont even know half the characters so i had to skip heaps

deathink responds:

Yeah, I had to google some of the names...but that is part of the fun!
